Tamir Kfir Ltd. (“Tamir Kfir”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit tamirkfir.com (the “Site”) or get in touch with us, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

We have kept this policy short and in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, write to us at info@tamirkfir.com.

Who we are

The Site is operated by Tamir Kfir Ltd., a company that designs and crafts custom orthotics and movement solutions for athletes, professionals and everyday people. For the purposes of privacy law, Tamir Kfir Ltd. is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you and to do our work well.

Information you send us. When you email us, message us on WhatsApp or ask to book a consultation, we receive the details you choose to share: typically your name, phone number, email address, the content of your message and anything you tell us about your sport, footwear, activity level, injuries or medical history.

Information gathered if you become a client. To design a solution that fits you, we record the results of your movement assessment, foot measurements, impressions or scans, your goals, and clinical notes relevant to your care. Health-related information of this kind is treated as sensitive information and is used only for your assessment, your solution and your follow-up.

Technical information. Like almost every website, the servers that host the Site keep standard logs: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open, the page that referred you and the time of your visit. We use these logs for security, troubleshooting and aggregate statistics. We do not use them to build profiles of individual visitors.

The Site has no registration area, no comment features and no online forms. Using the Site does not require you to give us any personal information at all.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and arrange consultations or appointments.
• To assess, design, produce, fit and follow up on your custom solution.
• To send service messages about your appointment, order or care.
• To send news or offers, only where you have asked for them. You can opt out at any time by replying to the message or writing to us, and we honour every request.
• To run, secure and improve the Site.
• To meet our legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We rely on your consent, on the need to provide the service you asked for, on our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, and on the legal duties that apply to us. We do not make automated decisions about you, and we never sell personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site is deliberately light on tracking. As of the date at the top of this page:

• The Site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• The Site does not load third-party analytics scripts or tracking pixels.
• One small value is kept in your browser’s session storage so that the opening animation plays once per visit instead of on every page. It contains no personal information and is cleared when you close the browser tab.
• Fonts, scripts and videos are served from our own servers, so simply browsing the Site does not send requests to font, video or social-media platforms.

If we introduce analytics or any other tool that stores information on your device, we will update this section before it goes live and, where the law requires, ask for your consent first. You can also block or delete cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only when there is a genuine need, and never for another party’s own marketing.

• Service providers who help us run the business, such as web hosting, email and messaging, scheduling and payment processing, together with our professional advisers. They may use the information only on our instructions.
• Production partners involved in manufacturing or delivering your solution, limited to the details they need for that task.
• Authorities and courts where the law, a court order or a binding request requires it, or where disclosure is needed to protect the rights, safety or property of any person.
• A successor business if Tamir Kfir Ltd. is merged, sold or restructured, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

WhatsApp, Instagram and other platforms

The WhatsApp and Instagram buttons on the Site open those services in a new window or app. If you contact us or follow us there, the platform operator (Meta Platforms and its affiliates) processes your phone number, profile details and message data under its own terms and privacy policy, over which we have no control. If you would rather not use those platforms, you are always welcome to email us instead.

Where your information is kept

We are based in Israel and the Site is hosted on servers located in Israel. Some of the providers we use, such as email and messaging services, may store information in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. When information leaves Israel we make sure it is protected as required by the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001, and, for information that originates in the EEA or the United Kingdom, by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a consultation are kept only for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Client records are kept for the length of our relationship and afterwards for as long as Israeli law requires us to retain clinical, tax and accounting records, or for as long as needed to resolve a dispute. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.

Security

The Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it for their work, our devices and accounts are password-protected, and our providers are chosen with security in mind. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so if you prefer, you can share medical details with us in person at your consultation rather than online.

Your rights

Under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you are entitled to review the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, and to be removed from any marketing list. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights set out in the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and the right to withdraw consent, as well as the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@tamirkfir.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.

Children and teens

We proudly work with young athletes, but we do not knowingly collect personal information online from anyone under the age of 18 without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you are arranging a consultation for a child, please be the one to contact us. If you believe a minor has sent us information without permission, let us know and we will remove it.

Links to other websites

The Site may link to websites and services run by others, such as partners, teams and social networks. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Site, our services or the law change. The date at the top of the page always shows the current version, and we will highlight significant changes on the Site. We encourage you to revisit this page from time to time.
